In a statement on [April 26], Scott Hutchins, USDA’s deputy undersecretary for research, education and economics, said he was pleased to see the affirmation of science-based decision-making …. Hutchins said in an email to POLITICO that he emphasized science-based decision-making because that was the strength the participants brought to these international dialogues.
