We are seeking a highly motivated candidate, interested in sequencing data analysis, for a position as a postdoctoral fellow.

The successful candidate should have solid methodological training in (bio)statistics, be comfortable developing simulations, and be proficient in R. Prior experience with genomics data analysis is a plus.

The successful applicant will work with Dr. Li-Xuan Qin to develop novel statistical methods and software tools for preprocessing and analyzing deep sequencing data, including microRNA-seq and single-cell-seq. S/he will have the opportunity to study carefully benchmarked empirical data, develop preprocessing methods in connection with downstream analysis, and apply the methods to ongoing cancer studies in collaboration with experimentalists and clinicians at MSK and other institutes.
