The College of Letters and Science puts liberal arts education at the heart of the comprehensive excellence that defines UC Davis. Both in its traditional fields and in ever-evolving new degrees and disciplines, faculty and programs in the College of Letters and Science are dedicated to distinguished research and creative excellence, engaged learning, and outcomes that change our world. With more than 40 percent of all undergraduates pursuing degrees across the liberal arts and sciences, and close to half of all UC Davis living alumni graduated from the college, the College of Letters and Science contributes to the nationally-recognized UC Davis tradition of access, excellence, and commitment to the public good.
