Virtual Open Days, 17 & 18 September 2020

In light of the latest advice about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this year's Cambridge Open Days will be delivered entirely online, through our Virtual Open Days.

The Cambridge Virtual Open Days are aimed at prospective applicants in Year 12 and Year 13 (or equivalent) and prospective mature applicants (aged 21 or over), together with any parents or supporters. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore our University and Colleges virtually and gain insight into what it is like to be a student at the University of Cambridge.

In order to attend the Virtual Open Days in September, please register in advance. To book your place, complete the online booking form.

What to expect

The Virtual Open Days will be hosted on the University’s virtual tour. Here you can access a range of information, 360 degree photography, articles and films from our Colleges and departments.

Following our Virtual Open Days in July, we are excited to give prospective applicants another chance to view Open Days presentations and attend live Q&As. While we will be offering some new content in September, please be aware that many of our pre-recorded videos will be the same as those released in July.

On Thursday 17 and Friday 18 September you will have the opportunity ask current students and staff questions in live general, subject and College Q&A sessions. Please note that the live online sessions offered on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 September will be broadly the same on both days.

Additionally, from Monday 14 September to Sunday 20 September, you will be able to find out about the University and Colleges by accessing pre-recorded presentations about our courses, the Colleges and departments, the application process, student life, and finance. A programme containing full details will be released in mid-September.
