The Swensons visited Burney Falls and recommended it. It’s an hours drive each way and we can visit the town of Macleod on the way home.

The Lodge at Crater Lake is booked and I can’t find another good option. Let’s try next time. It looks beautiful.
David stayed at Mt. Shasta Resort recently and recommends it. I booked 5 nights from Monday to Friday.
Cost: $175 per night for two bedroom chalet with a kitchen.
Dog friendly: Yes we can bring Buddy 🐕 as we have a pet friendly room. Cost another $20 per night.
Amenities: Tennis 🎾and golf. ⛳️The Resort is on Lake Siskiyou and they say we can recommend SUPs, kayaks, etc. at the Lake Siskiyou Camp.
Safety: They confirmed that nobody will be staying there Sunday night, which is what is recommended to limit Covid concerns.
Travel: Checkin is at 3. It should take about 4.5 hours driving. Checkout is at 11 and there are no late checkouts.
